CLEVELAND - Vesta Davis Visage, 92, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, in a Cleveland area hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dovie Free and was preceded in death by her first husband, George Wesley Davis; second husband, John Austin Visage; and son, Homer Eugene Davis.
She was a member of the Gobblers Knob Church of God and later attended Wesley Ann Baptist Church. She had a great love for flower gardening and doll collecting.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Beatrice and Don Reece of Rossville, Florence and Frank Cranfield of Cleveland, Shirley and Clarence Cranfield of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Arnold and Dorothy Davis of Cleveland; four stepdaughters, Martha Pendergrass of Fort Myers, Fla., Brenda Fox of Calhoun, Tenn., Judy Watson of Georgetown, Tenn., and Patsy Murphy of Cleveland; stepson, Charles Visage of Birchwood, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday in the Fike Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Joe Baker officiating.
Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Soddy-Daisy.
Eddie German, Terry Cranfield, Michael Cranfield, John Davis, Joe Davis and Tim Cranfield will serve as pallbearers.
Jason Stone, Justin Stone, Cody Cranfield, Casey Caldwell and Spencer Cranfield will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
