Edwin Clyde Davis, 71, of Georgetown, died on Friday, December 08, 2006.

Mr. Davis was a former finance company manager in Cleveland. He was a member of the Bartle Baugh Baptist Church for fifty years. He grew up and lived his entire life in the Chattanooga area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Givens Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Teena Myers and husband, David; son Edwin C. Davis. Jr. and wife Liz; sister, Lillian Woody; grandchildren, Jamie Ross, Heather Wilson, Edwin Davis, III, Christina Gilley, Whitney Myers, Connor Davis, and Emily Davis; great-grandchildren, Terry Sumner, Gloria Sumner, Shelby Ross, Austin Ross, Caitlin Wilson, Chase Wilson, Olivia Gilley and Michael Gilley, and many nieces and nephews.

Rev. Eric Stitts will conduct the service on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Bartle Baugh Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11-2 p.m. in the church.

Interment will be in Bartle Baugh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edwin C. Davis III, David Myers, Michael Henderson, Barry Henderson, Jeff Wilson and Connelly Ross, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bartle Baugh Baptist Church, 6129 Champion Road, Chattanooga, TN 37416.

Mary Evelyn Givens Davis, 65, of Georgetown, died on Monday, July 18, 2005.

Her beauty was shown inside and out through her love of her family, home and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and spirit, along with her amazing sense of humor and love of laughter.
Mrs. Davis was retired from Dupont after fifteen years of service. She then went on to enjoy the rest of her life as a homemaker and caring for her grandchildren.

She was a member of the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church for 50 years. She grew up and lived her entire life in the Chattanooga area.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edwin C. Davis; daughter, Teena Myers and husband, David; son, Edwin C. Davis. Jr. and wife Liz; grandchildren, Jamie Ross, Heather Wilson, Edwin Davis III, Christina Gilley, Whitney Myers, Connor Davis, and Emily Davis; great-grandchildren, Terry Summer, Gloria Summer, Shelby Ross, Austin Ross, Caitlin Wilson, Chase Wilson, and Olivia Gilley; sisters, Peggy Hayes, Lena Anderson, Sue Turner and Virginia Richardson, and many nieces and nephews.

Rev. Larry Tankersley, a cousin, will conduct the service on Friday, at 1 p.m. at East Chattanooga Church of God.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the church.

Interment will be in Bartlebaugh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edwin C. Davis III, David Myers, Michael Henderson, Barry Henderson, Jeff Wilson and Connelly Ross, Jr.
