Alice Faye Davis, 65, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, May 28, 2010.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was an Auxiliary Member of the VFW 4848. She loved music and square dancing, and loved helping her community or anyone needing help. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman A. Davis; infant daughter, Olieda Harris; parents, Marvin and Edna Grant; brother, Freeman Grant, Reynolds Grant.
She is survived by her daughters, Edna Dean Hope, Penny Grubb, Alice L. Davis; stepsons, Danny, Ray and Jim Davis; brothers, Lloyd, Edwin, James and Claude Grant; sister; Alice Scott; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the service at Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain.
Her Family will receive friends from 2 - 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, at the funeral home.
