Mamie Obit:
Mamie Y. Davis, 89, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Addie Yother and her brother, Melvin Yother.
She is survived by husband of 70 years, Clifford Davis; son, Carlton (Linda) Davis; daughter, Madeline Davis (Doug); brother, Ed (Sue) Yother; grandchildren, Mishana Paris, Joel Davis (Janice), Chris (Lorie) Calbaugh, Greg (Pam) Calbaugh; great grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Stephens, Christina (Corey) Calbaugh, Beau Calbaugh, Andrew Calbaugh, Ashley Calbaugh and great granddaughter, Ada Stephens along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2011 graveside at Millsaps Cemetery with Rev. Genovive DeHoag officiating. Visitation is Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clifford “Goat” Davis, 90, of Soddy-Daisy passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Mamie Y. Davis, parents, Russell and Lucille Davis, brother, Cloyd Davis, sister, Colleen Davis.
Clifford is also survived by his son, Carlton (Linda) Davis, daughter, Madeleine Davis (Doug), brother, Carmen (Katherine) Davis, grandchildren, Mishana Paris, Joel Davis (Janice), Chris (Lorie) Calbaugh, Greg (Pam) Calbaugh, great-grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Stephens, Christina (Corey) McDaniel, Beau Calbaugh, Andrew Calbaugh, Ashley Calbaugh, great-great-granddaughter, Ada Stephens, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Art Hampson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Millsaps Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
