Flora Hixson died Monday, June 21, 1999, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was 63. She was of a nondenominational faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Ford and Ressie Banther Ford; her husband, Louis Hixson Sr.; and a brother, Henry Ford.
Survivors include three sons, Alvin Hixson, Reliance, Tenn., Net Hixson, Harrison, and Nathaniel Hixson, Birchwood; a sister, Francis Craig, Hixson; brother, Frank Rockholt, Georgetown, Tenn.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Green and the Rev. Joe Young officiating.
Burial will be in Dolly Pond Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
