Etzel Hixson died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 64.
Mr. Hixson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He was also retired from Hamilton County as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Mysinger; daughter, Sharon Hixson, Chattanooga; two sons, Danny Hixson and Darryl Hixson, both of Chattanooga; two sisters, Barbara Hixson and Ruth Hixson, both of Garland, Texas; brother, Theron Hixson, Garland; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today at 3 p.m. in Foster Hixson Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
