Haven Hixson of Soddy-Daisy died Thursday, June 22, 2000, in a local hospital.
She was 90. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hixson, and a son, Leon Hixson.
Survivors include her daughters, Christine Underwood, Soddy-Daisy, Rachel Ashley, Evensville, Tenn., Rosa Reynolds, Signal Mountain, Arbutus Jackson, Graysville, Tenn., Irene Roberson and Catherine Poteet, both of Hixson, and Sandra Disspain, Etowah, Tenn.; son, Robert Hixson Jr., Soddy-Daisy; sister, Sylvalee "Short" Hixson, Soddy-Daisy; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Kelley and the Rev. Bobby Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Foster Hixson Cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
