Madge M. Johnson, 73, of Hixson, died March 12, 2001, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Johnson is a member of Daisy Church of God and was preceded in death by her parents, Mae Jenkins and Jim Minnis.

Survivors include her husband, Burl Johnson, children, Brenda Hodge, Bakewell; Buster Harmon, Pikeville; Karen Williams, Soddy-Daisy; and Joy Johnson, Harrison; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Hester Branum, Sale Creek; Donna Hodge, Bakewell; Betty Jean Moore, Warner Robins, Ga.; and Faye Hankins, Bakewell; and brother, Sam Jenkins, Soddy-Daisy.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Beavers officiating.

Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today.
