LeeRoy Johnson, 74, of Georgetown, TN went to be with the Lord of Sunday, September 1, 2013 from his earthly home.

He was a member of Gamble Road Baptist Church.

He was employed with the City of Chattanooga for 29 years working for the Chattanooga Public School System.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Felton and Lennie B. Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Mark Johnson, and his fiancée, Misty Mayton, of Birchwood, TN; three brothers, Robert Johnson, of Robertsdale, AL., Granville "Mary" Johnson, of Monroe, GA., and Franklin "Norma" Johnson, of Hixson, TN; two sisters, Loraine Elrod, of Chattsworth, GA., and Betty Griffin, of Rossville, GA.; granddaughter, Brittany Mayner; three grandchildren, Kala, Abby and Braden Mayner; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ron Kesley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gamble Road Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Inc., Hwy 58 Chapel, Chattanooga, TN.
