January 21, 1971 - July 29, 2021
Kurt Lasley Johnson, 50, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was of the Baptist faith. Kurt graduated from Baylor School and Birmingham Southern University. He was employed with Bi-lo/Food City for many years. Kurt loved to read. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Martha Hughes Johnson; grandparents, Grover and Helen Johnson and Charles and Cinda Belle Lasley Hughes and his brother, Kevin Lance Johnson; uncle, Charles Stiles and cousin, Leah Smith Morris.
Survivors are his three aunts, Linda Stiles, Judy Williamson (Pullen) and Laura Smith (Dennis); cousins, Mike Stiles, Alec, Evan and Eli Morris, Sandie Reese; several other cousins and extended family and special friend, Joey and his family.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilcoxen Cemetery with Bishop Jackie Penney officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
