Scyothia Snyder Penney, 78, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.
Retired from Shearer Amusement, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne O. Penney; son, Bobby Ray Harvey; parents, Melvin and Ella Mae Johnson Snyder.
She is survived by sons, Billy Garl Harvey, Dunlap, Tenn., Steve (Anita) Penney, Soddy-Daisy, and Gary (Donna) Penney, Dayton, Tenn.; granddaughter, Liza Day Penney, Dayton, Tenn.; and special friend and caregiver, June Hankins.
There will be no visitation or service.

Wayne Oren Penny, 79, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at his home.
Wayne was a resident of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn. and a retired welder from Combustion Engineering.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the care given to Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Nellie Wilcoxen Penney; six brothers, Paul, R.B., Russell, Donald, Doyle, and Sherill Penney; four sisters, Marjorie Hudson, Frances Henry, Helen Johnson and Sue Hatfield; and a stepson, Bobby Ray Harvey.
Survivors include his wife, Scyothia Penney of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; two sons, Gary (Donna) Penney of Dayton and Steve (Anita) Penney of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; stepson, Billy Harvey of Dunlap, Tenn.; one brother, Teddy (Stella) Penney of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; a granddaughter, Liza Day Penney of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. in Wilcoxen Cemetery in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.
