Evan Rease Penney, 73, of Soddy-Daisy, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, in an area hospital.
Mr. Penney was retired from Quaker Oats and a member of Sabbath Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Albert Grant and Delphia Ann McGuire Penney; and son, Michael Eugene Penney.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lucy Wilson Penney of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, James B., Grady M. and Calvin C. Penney of Hixson; sister, Velma Marie Penney of Hixson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Warren Zehrung officiating.
Interment will follow in Wilcoxen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon-9 p.m. Saturday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
