Peggy's Obit:
Peggy Walker Penney, 58, of Soddy-Daisy died, Sunday, June 17, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Penney was a member of East Soddy Church of God and was preceded in death by her parents, Leander Walker and Pauline Goode Walker Elder; and a brother, Leon Walker.
She is survived by her husband, Ross Penney; daughters, Tammy Warren, Denise Cooper and Lindsey Gibson, all of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Eddy Joe Walker, Elton Walker and Jimmy Walker, all of Soddy-Daisy, Lillard Walker, Chattanooga, Bevy Walker, Nashville, Abe Walker of Seymour, Tenn., Norman Walker, Danville, Ky., Jack Walker and Benny Walker of Mahwah, N.J.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Soddy Church of God, with the Rev. Calvin Nunley officiating.
Interment will be in East Soddy Church of God Cemetery.
Ross obit:
Ross Grant Penney, 61, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at his home.
He was of the Church of God Faith and was an avid fox hunter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Walker Penney; parents, Jack and Gertrude Penney; and brother, Dougle Penney.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph "Todd" Keylon, Shane Skiles; brother, Arnold Penney; sisters, Anita Revels, Jean Gregory, Thelma Walker and Jackie Davis; 23 nephews and nieces; several great-nephews and great-nieces; and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Walker officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Jordan, James Jordan, Tommy Vandergriff, Norris Johnson, Elmer Walker, Robert Hixson, Jack Gregory and To m Hackney.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
