Thomas Obit:
Thomas E. Penney, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away Sunday, March 7. 2010. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and was retired from Lookout Boiler. He was a member of Christ Family Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Penney.
Survivors include his son, Leland (Kathy) Penney of Soddy-Daisy, and daughter, Lois (Troy) Green of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 10, in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in East Soddy Cemetery. Visitation is after 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 9, at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their special love to Betty Lou and Donnie Alexander.

Louise Penney, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Sunday, July 31, 2005, at her home.
She was a member of East Soddy Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas Penney; son, Leland Penney; daughter, Lois Green; sister, Betty Jo Davis of Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
