Helen Louise Petty, 79, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014. She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. She served as a pastor's wife where they spent 18 years at the Pentecostal Assembly which later became the Dallas Bay Church of God. Helen was a great pianist and organist. She played the piano at the Senior Activity Center in Cleveland on Monday mornings.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Winfred Petty; parents, Rev. E.W. and Ruby Carden and brother, Charles Carden.

Survivors include her son, Darrin E. Petty (Alicia); sister, Frances Carden Snyder; brothers, Donald R. Carden and Harold W. Carden; grandchildren, Nicole Porter, David Porter and Samantha Mckeel (Timmy) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Cleveland Church of God with Bishop Mitchell Maloney officiating. Helen will lie in state from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Dividing Ridge Cemetery.
