Helen L. Petty, 79, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Jan. 29, 2008, at a local health care facility.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Petty; son, Danny Petty; daughter, Carolyn Clark; grandson, David Harris.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Stephens, of Louisiana, Teresa Petty, of Soddy-Daisy, Liz Cooper, of Georgia, Karen Harris, of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Coleman Cemetery with Bartley Norton officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P.O. Box 19269, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
