Reynolds Grant, 76, died on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in during the Korean War. He was a former member of American Legion Post 191.
His parents, Marvin and Edna Harvey Grant; infant brothers, Arley and Wade Grant; brother, Freeman Grant and his first wife, Cleo Harris Grant, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith Grant; five daughters, Patricia (Glenn) McDowell, Marilyn (Stephen) Finch, Elizabeth Moorman, Gloria (Tim) James, Deloras Ezell; stepdaughter, Lavada (Stan) Parton; grandchildren, Cheryl Barton, Lana McDowell, Keith and Eric Finch, Patricia Moorman, David James, Michelle James, Amy Knight, Amanda Ezell, Lee Broom, Tiffany Parton; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Brother Cary Gomer officiating. Interment will follow in Varner-Grant Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday and all day Monday.
