Edna Obit:
Edna R. Grant, 93, of Chattanooga, Tn., died on October 26, 2007.
She was a member of the Lewis Chapel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin T. Grant; son, Freeman Grant; sister, Vena Knight and a brother, Bruce Harvey.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice F. Davis, Chattanooga; sons, Reynolds Grant, Soddy-Daisy, Lloyd Grant, Edwin Grant, James Grant, Claude Grant, all of Dunlap; brothers, Wilburn Harvey, Chattanooga, Warner Harvey, Soddy-Daisy, Ralph Harvey, Dunlap; sisters, Rosalee Cain, Geraldine Cooley, both of Dunlap, Aline Laymon, Soddy-Daisy, 34 grandchildren, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Clyde Shankles officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Sunday.
