Jimmie Obit:
Jimmie Lou Lewis, 83, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away June 21, 2018. Mrs. Lewis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lorene Millsaps and a brother, Bill Millsaps.
She is survived by her husband GC Lewis; sons, Brian (Cheryl) Lewis, Randy (Roxanna) Lewis and Edwin Lewis; a sister, Lutherene Frederick, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her family requests memorial donations to, Varner Cemetery Fund, C/O Lamar Carr, 10503 Grant Road, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M Saturday in Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain, Reverend Grant Chauncey will be officiating. At Mrs. Lewis’ request, there will be no public visitation.

Granville Obit:
Granville Chester Lewis, 89, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Combustion Engineering. Granville enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and being outside.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Lou Lewis; brothers, Vance Lewis, Willard Lewis and Lowell Lewis and sister, Jayna Gravitt.
Survivors are his sons, Brian (Cheryl) Lewis, Randy (Roxie) Lewis and Edwin Lewis; grandchildren, Brandon Lewis, Tracy Morrow, Cristy Russell, Derrick Lewis, Jared Lewis, Trevor Lewis; great grandchildren, Destiny, Daniel, Jenna, Vance, Patch; sisters, Bernice McClendon and Thelma Potter; brother, Larry Lewis, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Grant-Varner Cemetery on Mowbray Mountain with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
