Clarence Obit:
Clarence Bobby “Pa Paw” Lewis, 75, of Hixson, passed away, October 18, 2006 in a Chattanooga, TN hospital. He retired from Combustion Engineering after thirty-five years of service and was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Lewis was of the Baptist Faith.
His parents, Joe & Billy Lewis, brother, Gene Dodd preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Vandergriff Lewis; four sons, Edward and Sandy Lewis, Soddy-Daisy, Eddie & Beverly Harvey, Soddy-Daisy, Steve Spencer, Hixson, Dennis & Gingi Harvey, Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Synthia & Danny Higgins, Soddy-Daisy, brother, Richard & Rebecca Geren, Hixson, two sisters, Betty & J. D. Anderson, Madisonville, TN, Diane & Jerald Adkinson, Red Bank; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Henderson & Colonel Gary Payne officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery with Military Honors. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation is 4:00 TO 9:00 Friday & after 11:00 A.M. Saturday.

Lois obituary:
Lois Vandergriff Lewis, 80, of Hixson, TN, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nina Vandergriff; her husband, Bobby Lewis; her brothers, Bill, Jack and David Vandergriff and sisters, Audrey Payne and Margie Shipley.
She is survived by her sons, Claude Dennis (Gingi) Harvey of Soddy-Daisy, Edward Harvey of Hixson and Steven Spencer of Hixson; her step-children, Eddie Lewis and Samantha Higgins both of Soddy-Daisy; her brother, Joe Vandergriff of Hixson; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2014, graveside, in Friendship Cemetery with Reverend Michael Combs and Reverend Curtis Henderson officiating. Visitation is 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
