Alvin "Delannie" Millwood of Hixson died Friday, July 2, 1999, at his home.
He was 78. He was retired after 21 years of service with the town of Signal Mountain.
He was a member of Lone Oak Church of God and the widower of Goldie Jane Slaven Millwood.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Millwood Roberts; three sons, Marvin, Gwin and Alvin "Sonny" Millwood; a sister, Gladys Millwood; two brothers, E.J. and Herman Millwood, all of Signal Mountain; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Harley Morrison officiating.
Burial will be in Sawyer Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
