Odie "Sam" Millwood, 47, of Decatur died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Austin Millwood, Chattanooga Valley; five sisters, Addie Minnis, Decatur, Louise Hitchcock and Charlotte Turnburke, Lupton City, Dorothy Frye, Cleveland, Betty Miller, Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at noon at Community Baptist Church on Signal Mountain with Rev. Glen Morgan and Rev. Phil Shellabarger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sawyers Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4-9 p.m. at the Dodds Avenue chapel of Turner Funeral Homes.
