Bertie Louise Hitchcock, 76, of Lupton City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 9, 2013.
Bertie was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Bertie was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mollie Millwood.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Sue, Tanya, Elizabeth and Sandy; sons, Thomas, Gerald, Joseph, Terry and Michael; sisters, Addie Lee Minnis, Dorothy Sue Frye, Betty Jo Miller and Charlotte Fay Turnburke ; 12 grandchildren, Sarah, Kelly, Mary, Amanda, April, Gary, Vanessa, Chad, Jeremiah, Timothy, Kayla and Jason; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, with Reverend Christopher Creswell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawyer Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
