Robert “Peanut” Clingan age 65 of Dayton passed away Saturday July 30, 2016 at his home. He was born January 7, 1951 to the late Bill and Lucile (Potter) Clingan in Hamilton County. He is also preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Kaylor.
Robert retired from the Army after serving in the 1st Persian Gulf War.
Robert is survived by his two brothers Billy Clingan and Buddy (Gail) Clingan, as well as his two sisters Maudie Holland and Joann (Olen) Downs, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Robert will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joshua Stock officiating.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends on Monday from 12:00pm until the funeral.
