Mildred Lorene Varner, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, in an area health care facility.
She was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Varner.
Survivors include two sons, James F. Varner of Soddy-Daisy and William A. Varner of Chattanooga; three daughters, Ginger Swallows, Jerry Sue Smith and Lee Ann Higdon, all of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Dorothy Griffith of Soddy-Daisy; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at noon Friday at Hickman Cemetery.
Grandsons and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
