Irene Lewis Vandergriff, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, July 18, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davis Vandergriff, and daughter, Alice Gene Brown.
Survivors include her daughters, Elsie (Bill) Walden, Reda (Larry) Todd and Lois Vandergriff; brothers, William Lewis and Albert Lewis; sisters, Pauline Hicks; Elsie Swafford and Elizabeth Horner; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Richard Horner and Michael Hearrell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawyers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 9 p.m. on Monday, July 19, and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy, Tn.
