Robert C. "Bob" Vandergriff, 62, of Hixson died on April 24, 2002 at his residence.
He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Faye D. Vandergriff of Hixson; two sons, Mike and daugher-in-law, Tonya Vandergriff; Steve Vandergriff of Hixson; father, Joe B. Vandergriff Jr. of Hixson; sister, Carolyn Jo Williams and family of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Dennis Wayne Vandergriff and family of Egan, Minn.; three grandsons, Corey, Ryan and Jonas Vandergriff all of Hixson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. from the Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58
Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
Williamson and Sons are in charge of arrangements.
