Christopher Douglas Green, 49, of Rossville, GA passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 in an area hospital. Chris was employed with Shaw Industries and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Rossville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Green; grandparents, Oscar and Leola Legg and Violet Heard.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Simcox Green; daughters, Shelby and Adriel Green; mother, Gloria Faye Dillard.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Groce, Rev. Stephen Kellogg and Rev. Todd Simcox officiating. Interment will follow in Silverdale Cemetery with Jeremy Nix, Steve Woodward, Dwight Heard, Gary Heard, Justin McCrary, Jody Baxter, Eric Legg and Randy Legg serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 6:30 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church and on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to, the AWANA Program or Missions Conference Store Program at Victory Baptist Church, in care of, Angie Baxter, 1013 LaFayette Street Rossville, GA 30741 Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center. at the foot of historic Lookout Mountain, St. Elmo.
