Connie Sluder, 64, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at a local hospital. She was a member of Dallas Bay Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Hazel Helton, brother; Billy Helton, sisters; Janice Jones, Barbara Winters.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years; Mickey Sluder, sons; Kenneth Johnson, Steve Sluder, daughters; Pam (Russell, Jr.) Brown, Sandra (Tom) Harris, Tonya Stephens, brother; Curtis Helton, sisters; Mary Sue Elkins, Lois Horne, Audrey Patterson, Vadonna McCracken, Debra Crowe, grandchildren; Russell Brown III, Brittany Brown, Amanda Brown, Jessica Combs, Zachary Harris, Dustin Stephens, Kera Stephens, great-grandchild; Aidan Stevens.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mia “Pitman” Head and the Rev. Charles Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
