Harold April 10, 1039 - February 25, 2006
Harold Hyatt, age 66 of 651 Huffman Road, Piney Flats, Passed away unexpectedly at his residence Saturday, February 25, 2006. A native of Bluff City, he was a son of the late Thomas and Louise Fagans Hyatt. Mr. Hyatt worked in construction and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hyatt, one grandson, Buddy Lee Hyatt, one great grandson, Bryan David Cope. Survivors include; one daughter, Donna Weaver, Piney Flats; three sons, John Harold Hyatt and Billy Joe Hyatt, both of Piney Flats, Jimmy Joe Hyatt, Bluff City; two sisters, Patricia Bradley, and Virginia Hyatt, both of Johnson City; four brothers, Johnny Hyatt, Johnson City, R.C Hyatt and George Hyatt, both of Piney Flats, and Ray Hyatt, Bluff City; Eight Grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive; Special friends, Ann Lowe, Bobby Malone, and Jimmy Tester.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home- Bluff City Chapel, with Rev. Larry Barr officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel, or other times at the residence of his son, Jimmy Hyatt, 428 Jonesboro Road, Bluff City.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be Larry Hammer, Nickie Barnes, John Somich, Keith Cope, Steve Chafin, and Jason Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be all the friends of the family. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are requested to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. Betty July 21, 1934 - June 5, 2004
Mrs. Betty Wayne Hyatt, 69, of 651 Huffman Road, Piney Flats died Saturday, June 5, 2004 at North Side Hospital, Johnson City, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hyatt was a native of Bluff City and a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Eliza Almaroad Malone. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and a great grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Hyatt of the home, one daughter, Donna Weaver, Piney Flats; three sons, John Hyatt and Billy Joe Hyatt, both of Piney Flats, and Jimmy Joe Hyatt of Bluff City; two brothers, John Henry Malone, Bluff City and Bobby Malone, Piney Flats; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive and her loving pet dog, "Nut'.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Wayne Hyatt will be conducted at 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Mike Pope officiating. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 8, 2004 in the Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Nickie Barnes, Jimmy Malone, Wayne Malone, Roger Fagan, Joey Jenkins, Mike Gray, Larry Hammer and James Fagan. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, prior to the service. Friends may call at the residence any time.
The family would like to say thank you to the nursing staff at North Side Hospital.

Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 A.M. Tuesday for the graveside service.
