Obituary: Ella Mae Reece Hyatt Ella Mae Reece Hyatt, 43, of 228 Tester Hollow Road, Piney Flats, TN passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her daughter?s apartment, 214 Big Valley Drive, Johnson City, TN. She was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Junior and Dorothy Reece. She was the kind of person everyone loved and you could talk to her about anything. She had a big heart and always had a smile on her face. Ella loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was an all around great person to know and love, and was a wonderful mother and wife. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an aunt Carolyn Hyden and a special friend, Harold Tucker. Survivors include her husband, George Hyatt of Piney Flats; two daughters Holly Ray of Johnson City and Jessica Ray of Gray; three brothers, Dale Reece and wife Jenny of Piney Flats, Randy Reece and wife Dessie of Blountville and Steve Reece of Johnson City; two sisters, Patsy Smith and husband Rick of Piney Flats and Brenda Smith and husband Robby of Bluff City; several nieces and nephews; special friends Tiny Smith, Daniel Birchfield, Fay and Bubba Ferguson, Barbara Morris, Sandy Barnett, Ricky Smith, Angie and Bo Malone, Ray and Madeline Smith, known as Mom and Dad and several additional special friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Tetrick Funeral Home- Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Terry Freeman and Rev. Darrell McNally officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 2:00 P.M., Thursday prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Birchfield, Ricky Smith, Jimmy Tester, Bo Malone, David Baker, and Jon Hyder. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Cox, Eric Morris, Jim Jones, David Tucker and Phil Self. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help cover the unexpected funeral expenses.
