Silverdale Cemetery is located at the end of Cemetery Lane in Chattanooga, TN. Take the Bonny Oaks Dr. east exit off Highway 153.
The land for the cemetery was given by Mr. George House. The grave of Roger W Thomas Poe is the oldest on with a marker of 1810. The oldest person was Rev George Julian who was 94 at his death. There are one hundred unmarked graves. The first persons buried there were enslaved persons who don't have markers.
