The Shipley Cemetery is located thirty miles northeast of Chattanooga. Follow US- 27 north to Daugherty Ferry road. Go about one mile to Shipley Hollow road. Travel about ¼ mile to Shipley Cemetery Rd. Turn right. Follow the road until you reach the cemetery. The land was donated by Mr. J. B. Shipley.
The cemetery has around 50 fieldstones, unreadable headstones. It is fairly well maintained.
