Rose Belle Moore, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015. 

She was a lifelong resident of the Silverdale Community and a 1945 graduate of Tyner High School.  She enjoyed a long bookkeeping career, working for Sterchi’s Dairy Farm, Cummings' Truck Leasing, Jenkins’ Truck Leasing and Penske Truck Leasing.  After a brief retirement, she began a second career with the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department where she worked until 2010.  She enjoyed working, reading, quilting,cooking, traveling with her brother and sister, and most of all being Nana.  She was a faithful, lifelong member of the Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Frankie Moore; her brothers, Charlton and Frank Moore; and her sister, Bettye Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Brent) Burke; grandsons, Kevin (Autumn) Burke and Kyler (Kristen) Burke; and great-grandsons, Evan Padgett and Kevin Burke III; and sister-in-law, Jane Moore.
The family would like to pay special tribute to the staff of The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Collegedale, who became Rose's second family and to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for the care they so competently and compassionatelygave. 

A memorial service to celebrate Rose's life will be held at a later date. 
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Alzheimers Association or Hospice of Chattanooga.
