Earleene "Maw Brooks" Gill, 87, of Ooltewah, died on Monday, March 10, 2008, after a long illness.

She was a member of Honestville Baptist Church and retired from Dupont after 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Brooks, son, Bill Brooks, two grandsons, Randall Nutt and Eddie Jinnette and stepgrandson, Barry Gill.

She is survived by her husband, Coy Gill, of Ooltewah; two daughters, Robbie Brooks Nutt, Knoxville, Kathy Brooks Smith, Ooltewah; two stepsons, John Gill, Chattanooga, Bob Gill, Ooltewah; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Underwood and Pastor Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Silverdale Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday and 10-11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
