Wilhelmena Spann Young, 81, formerly of Chattanooga, died Friday, July 1, 2005, in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was the loving wife of the late Robert Young, Jr.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Wanda Young, Tonya Worthy and Rosalind (Sonnie) Slade; her cherished granddaughter, Shaunese Worthy; sons-in-law, Charles Worthy and Duane Slade; brothers, William Spann, Chattanooga, and Marion Spann, Denver; sisters, Lorraine Wylie and Genevieve Jennings, Chattanooga, Gwendolyn Elliott, Adelia Owens and Geraldine Cox of Chicago and Cornelia Bridges, Victorville, CA; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Washington Hills United Methodist Church with Pastor Walter Cross Jr. officiating. Burial will be Silverdale Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Trammell Chapel of Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home.
