Eldon S. Adams, 74, of Sale Creek died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in a local hospital.
He was born in Sale Creek and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sale Creek. He was a member of the Tennessee State Employee Association and was retired from the state of Tennessee Department of Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Adams.
Survivors include daughter, Jennifer L. Adams of Sale Creek; three sisters, Cecil Robertson of Soddy-Daisy, Ann Smith of Elk Grove, Calif., and Katherine Ball of Rossville, Ga.; two brothers, Ray Adams of Red Bank, and Jack Adams of Auberry, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Thursday 2 p.m. Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Eldridge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Patterson Cemetery, Sale Creek.
