Ola Katherine White, 85, of Birchwood, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 18, 2016 in a local hospital.
She was born on April 29, 1931, in Chattanooga to the late George Carol and Nellie Elizabeth Denton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles White; second husband, William Bettis; son, Tommy White; and several siblings.
Survivors include her children, Edward Ray (Annette) White of Dunlap, Charles Jackson White of Birchwood, Rebecca Norwood, of Georgetown, Robert Carol (Lonna) White of Athens, and Donna Mae (Jamie) Hansford of Elgin, South Carolina; brothers, Dick (Mollie) Denton and Jim (Angel) Denton of Birchwood, and Warren (Peggy) Denton of Athens; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 21, at 2:30 p.m.at Dolly Pond Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org/donate.
