Charles E. White, 71, of Birchwood passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at home.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Katherine Denton White; children, Edward Ray White, Rebecca White Norwood, both of Georgetown, Tenn., Charles Jackson White, Robert Carroll White and Tommy Curtis White, all of Birchwood, Tenn., and Donna Mae White Handsford of Elgin, S.C.; his mother, Essie White of Monteagle, Tenn.; three brothers, Bobby White of Georgia, James White of Monteagle and Johnny White of Smyrna, Tenn.; a sister, Hazel Presnell of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. today at Dolly Pond Cemetery.
The Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
