Leland R. Hunt, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, in a Chattanooga hospital.
Mr. Hunt was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church, a 50-year member of Soddy Masonic Lodge #418 F&AM, a member of the International Brick Layers and Allied Craft Workers Local #6.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Lula Penny Hunt.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Margie Hunt of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Ralph Hunt, Bobby Hunt, and Jerry Hunt; daughter, Faye Berry; sisters, Anna Underwood, Jean Nunley; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Don Kelly officiating.
A Masonic Service will follow in the chapel.
Interment will be in Coleman Cemetery.
Margie Marie Hunt, 87, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in an area health care facility.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland R. Hunt.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph Hunt, Bobby Hunt and Jerry Hunt, all of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Faye Berry of Soddy-Daisy; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Paul Stuart officiating.
Interment will follow in Coleman Cemetery.
