Mildred's Obit:

Mildred Florence Roberson Scribner, 82, of Soddy-Daisy died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in a local hospital.

She was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church, and she retired from Goodwill after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Scribner of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Russell Scribner of Soddy-Daisy and Dwight Brown of Elyria, Ohio; two daughters, Ramona Walker of Apison, Tenn., and Shirley Gibson of Fort Meyers, Fla.; two brothers, Max Brown of Spring City, Tenn., and Ray Brown of Elyria, Ohio; four sisters, Joyce Newby of Spring City, Tenn., Allene Smith of Chattanooga, June Jones and Betty Kincannon, both of Elyria, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel conducted by Clay Morland.

Interment will follow in the Union Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service.
Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.

Harold Edward Scribner, 91, died on Monday, Oct. 24, 2005.
He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He worked many years for Cavalier Corporation furniture division and he retired from TDOT.
Mr. Scribner was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church and he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Scribner; son, Russell Scribner; and a daughter, Shirley Gibson.

He is survived by his daughter, Ramona Walker, Soddy-Daisy; six grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren.

The funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating. Interment will follow in Union Fork Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday.
