Forever in our hearts
Obit:
Russell Edward Scribner, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at a local hospital.
He was retired from U.S. Pipe after 44 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Scribner.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Scribner of Hixson; son, Jamie Scribner of Chattanooga; daughter, Cheryl Walt of Rockwood; father, Harold Scribner of Soddy-Daisy ; brother, Dwight Brown of Elyria, Ohio; sisters, Ramona Walker of Apison, Tenn., and Shirley Gibson of Fort Myers, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Fork Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service on Saturday.
Williamson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
