Alma's Obit:
Alma M. James, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at a local hospital.

She was a member of Coffelt Road Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. James; son, Jessie R. James; brother, Leon Bice.

She is survived by her son, Franklin E. James; daughter, Billy M. May; brothers, Billy, Donald, Ed, James, Tom and Aaron Bice; sisters, Judy Walker, Tina Bailey, Elizabeth Eustice; grandchildren, Malachi Rice, Rebecca Coppinger, Caleb Rice; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. James Branyon and the Rev. Jamie Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
