Obit:
Rhonda Logan Leffew, 53, of Soddy Daisy, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 after a long battle with cancer at her residence.  She went peacefully with her family and friends by her side.  Born in Chattanooga on February 20, 1958 to Barbara and Mac “Dick” Logan,  Rhonda was a nurse at Northgate Neurology for Dr. Larry Gibson.  She loved the Lord, family, friends and her dog, Ranger, unconditionally.  She always put others first and enjoyed her gardens and spending time with her family in North Carolina.  She was preceded in death by grandparents, Severe and Margaret Teague; father, Mac “Dick” Logan; brother, Rodney Logan; son, Nathan Leffew and her nephews, Keith Miller and Jason Logan.  

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Kenny Leffew; children, Mitchell Leffew, John (Kim) Leffew both of Soddy Daisy and Wendy (Eddie) Epling of Birchwood; mother, Barbara Logan of Sale Creek; grandchildren, Travis, Heather, Caleb, Danielle, Chasity, Jacob and Brent Leffew all of Soddy Daisy, Joshua and Allison Epling of Birchwood; siblings, Jeff (Jacqui), Jeremy(Jody) and Suzanne Logan; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, especially her sister-in-law, Debbie Leffew Parker who was very special to her along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating.  Burial will follow in the East Soddy Community Cemetery with Mark Leffew, Brian Leffew, Eric Leffew,Tracy Leffew, Teddy Patterson and Scott Snodgrass serving as pallbearers.  Visitation is Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
