Vernon Obit:
Vernon Alan Anderson, 72, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006.
He was of Christian faith and was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Anderson.
He is survived by sons, Johnny, Anthony, Darrell Anderson and Tommy Dennison; daughters, Alma "A.J." Shackelford, and Windy Anderson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m. Monday, at Smith Cemetery with Elder Joseph Newbry officiating. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.

Darrell Jay Anderson, 42, of Hixson, passed away on December 12, 2011, at his residence. He lived in the area his entire life, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a former employee of D&C Garage in Hixson where he worked as an auto mechanic. He loved to fish and work on cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Alan Anderson; paternal grandparents, Arvil and Ruby Levi Hodge; and maternal grandparents, John and Bessie Sexton Anderson.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Eric Anderson of El Paso, Texas, Christopher Douglas Anderson of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Destiny Elizabeth Anderson of Falling Water; fiancé, Jane Jean; mother, Eula Anderson, of Hixson; brothers, Johnny Alan Anderson, Morris Bryan Frady, Dewayne Allen Rose, Anthony Stewart Anderson; sisters, Alma Jean “A.J.” Shackleford, Terisa Ann Evans, Wendy Danyelle Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17, at 2:00 PM with Bishop Jacob Isaacson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday prior to the service.
