Sanford Jackson, 75, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, April 11. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. Interment at a later date will take place at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. A retired professional truck driver, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda Jean Jackson of Atlanta and Claudia Kelley of Covington; two sons, Clay Jackson of Memphis and Greg Jackson of Covington; four sisters, Mary Ann Hunter of Leesburg, FL, Carolyn Lantto of Fruitland, FL, Shelby Lowe of Fallon, NV and Wanda Bellow of Covington; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Jackson Carter and Paulette Belk and three brothers, Julian Jackson, Bryson Thomas Jackson and Algie Lee Jackson.
