Dorothy Archer, 77, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, August 25 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. The widow of Farris Archer, she is survived by one daughter, Di-Ann Jones of Alamo; one son, Allen Cox of Covington; one brother, John Beasley of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Barry and one brother, Nathan Beasley.
