Robert Ray Jackson, Sr., 91, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, December 8. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Almeter Jackson; one son, James Lee ""Chubby"" Jackson of Brighton; two daughters, Tribdean Pierce of Henderson, TN and Bertha Merriman of Houston, MS; three sisters, Betty Rowland of Drummonds, Helen Byrd of Covington and Shirley Neafus of Brighton; two brothers, Thomas Jackson of Drummonds and Abe Jackson of Mason; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
