Ike A Reagan was born July 14, 1907 to James Floyd Reagan and Adeline Mavis. Born in Pickett County, Tennessee he was the 4th child of the union. Sadly, at 6 years of age his mother died with his father remarrying the following year. Ike spent most of his adolescence in Fentress County before joining the U.S. Army in the late 1920s. On August 3, 1929 he shipped out for assignment with the Hawaii Department in Honolulu where he arrived in late November after a stop at Fort McDowell, California. He remained in Hawaii until January 1932 when he sailed back to San Fransisco then to the East Coast. Upon arrival he was assigned to the 29th Infantry, Company F at Fort Benning, Georgia where he sadly perished due to an underlying health problem after being found unresponsive at his post December 31, 1932. According to records he a military gravestone was shipped to his father however the disposition of such is unknown.
