The story goes that Susanna is not buried here. She was buried along with her husband, Stephen Winton and others of the family in "Windy Winton cornfield". The tombstones were rescued by Frank McColloch at the cemetery when the area was being bulldozed. The stones were taken to Frank's home where they remained until Bob Sherwood picked them up, brought them to his home, pieced them back together, put them on bases and took them to Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Stones were placed in the same row with Stephen & Susannah's son Thomas Jefferson and his family.
